What an amazing place for vegans and non vegans, equally! Pastries are delightful, fresh, tasty, great quality. Can’t choose a favourite one but the strawberry crumble croissant is definitely a must. Coffee was amazing and the cups are huge! I loved the local art items available for sale, little clay figures, paintings, tote bags, jewellery, etc. Books available to have a read while enjoying food or drinks. Great service, genuinely friendly stuff and delicious food. The scrambled tofu was lovely Definitely a must in Adelaide!

I’ve decided to do a reverse review from the croissants POV Croissant’s POV – “Baked for Battle” Joy of Flora Café Oi. Yeah you! the bloke with that carnivore stare, like I was made of lies and lettuce. You looked at me like I owed you bacon. I get it. You’ve been burned before. But I wasn’t here to fake it. I was here to convert. Flaky on the outside, steady on the inside. I wasn’t butter, but I moved like I was. My ham? Smokier than a pub yarn at 2am. My cheese? Melted with purpose, no rubber, no remorse. First bite, you paused. Second bite, your eyebrows raised. Third bite, you forgot I was vegan. You didn’t even question me after that. You just let it happen. And I watched you, glass of water, sunlight catching the rim like a halo, sitting in a room that didn’t need to try hard. No attitude, no preaching. Just chairs, smiles, and the quiet safety of being welcomed. You thought I was a trick. But I was a memory in the making. Next time you bite into something new, you’ll think of me. I didn’t just change your mind. I rewrote your tongue’s doctrine. ————• Thankyou to the kind staff, I legit thought the cheese was real. That was the 5 stars, Cheers

Love this cafe, not many vegan places in Adelaide, but the cafes we do have are incredible, so intentional. Never have a bad meal here, the McJof is a must try, especially if you haven’t had a sausage mcmuffic in years. It’s beautiful, the atmosphere is amazing. Even if you’re not vegan must go!

A Vegan’s Paradise in a Quaint Corner! If you’re looking for a cozy spot that serves up mouthwatering vegan delights, look no further than Joy of Flora Café. Nestled in a charming, quiet area, this café is a hidden gem perfect for enjoying a break, whether you're working or simply unwinding. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with the lovely owner and friendly staff creating a place where you’ll feel right at home. And let's talk about the food—oh, the food! As a vegan, I can confidently say this is my go-to place for a coffe and a delicious and satisfying meal. The menu is a true haven for plant-based eaters, with standouts like the BLT or BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato). The flavors are so rich and satisfying that even non-vegans will love it. But the treats! The sweets at Joy of Flora are simply to die for. Whether you're in the mood for a light bite or something sweet to finish your meal, they’ve got you covered.

We visited for the first time today and had an awesome lunch! We ordered some burgers and the big breakfast, everything was so colourful and flavour filled. We even had the pleasure of meeting the Owner and chef Mark who came out to introduce himself which was lovely, and he even gave my wife a special dessert treat for her birthday which was really nice! Highlight was the massive macadamia cookie we ordered as well which was heaven! Would highly recommend for anyone interested in an amazing vegan meal!
